Using HikersWool to prevent blisters
Using HikersWool is simple - follow these directions for the best results.
* Stop immediately if you feel a hot spot and apply HikersWool as directed - don't wait until the blister forms.
* Apply a generous amount directly to the tender area then replace sock and footwear. Depending on the location of your hotspot/blister you may not need to completely remove your sock.
* If the problem is in your toe area, remove your sock and wrap the wool around the affected area.
* HikerWool will bind itself into the sock over the course of the day, this is normal. So as long as your sock stays in place, HikersWool will too. You can easily add more or replace if needed.
HikersWool will not form lumps or roll into a ball making it comfortable even for ling journeys. Once you have used it a few times you will become able to judge the right amount needed for your feet.

Usage
Each stick pack contains 200 calories. For endurance workouts, mix 1 stick pack per 500-750 mL of water per hour. Adjust to your personal calorie needs during training, using hunger as a guide. When it’s dialed in, you’ll feel satisfied and energetic, not hungry or full. On hot days, keep the same calories per hour, but increase water. To use in combo with other foods, reduce Tailwind intake by the calories you’re consuming elsewhere to avoid overloading the gut. For shorter workouts (<2hr), you can use less Tailwind to taste. Usage of caffeinated flavours is similar to regular Tailwind except that we recommend limiting continuous use to 6 hours or less to avoid building up a high concentration of caffeine. The Maurten GEL 100
This is the GEL. It’s a bold statement. But nonetheless true. From a technical perspective, traditional gels are water and carbohydrates simply mixed into syrups, often containing added flavours and preservatives. The GEL 100 is completely different. It’s a biopolymer matrix, filled with a unique blend of fructose and glucose (ratio of 0.8:1) which enables uptakes of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour.

AMOUNT OF CARBOHYDRATES
It is well known that our bodies can make use of about 60 grams of ingested carbohydrates per hour, in the form of glucose or maltodextrin (glucose polymer). Using a 0.5:1 combination of fructose and glucose/maltodextrin, allows uptake of up to 90 grams per hour. More recent studies have shown that increased fructose content, above 0.5:1 enables an even higher uptake. The GEL 100 CAF 100 is based on a 0.8:1 fructose-to-glucose ratio. Usage

Our Sport Hydration Drink Mix was created for a simple purpose - to replace the electrolytes lost in sweat and to provide a little bit of energy when working out, without offending your palate or gut.
We initially created this drink because some of the world’s best athletes needed better. Conventional sports drinks made them sick. They were undrinkable - too sweet, over-flavored, and didn’t even replace what was lost in sweat – which defeated the whole purpose, like fighting thirst with more thirst.

Usage:

If you purchased your shoes in store you are provided with time to be fitted in shoes and will have the opportunity to run in shoes inside of the store. If you purchase shoes from BKT-Trail, take the shoes for a run and decide that you would like a different shoe, you are unfortunately unable to return your shoes as they have been worn and no longer in the condition that you purchased them in. If you have purchased shoes you are able to take them home and wear them on a surface inside that does not mark the shoes and if they are in the same condition as when purchased and have not been marked at all and have the tags and box intact we are able to return the shoes within the requisite time periods. Refunds will attract an administration fee.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with tags attached. We strongly suggest that you wear an item at home with all tags attached to ensure sizing accuracy. In store we are able to assist with sizing however we are not able to feel what you are able to feel. We also ask that you refer to sizing charts that are either located in store, on our website or on a brand's website. Knowing and understanding your gear and how it fits is a great attribute for people that love to be in the wilderness.
